Georne Aucoin Georne Aucoin, Artistic DirectorGeorne Aucoin, a California native, has studied with many well- known teachers and choreographers. She has had extensive training at Dallas Metropolitan Ballet. Colorado Ballet, and Joffery Ballet, Petrus Bosman, Suki Schorer, Sven Alexander, Bill Atkinson, Ann Etgen, and Richard Steinert. Artistic Director of International City School of Ballet for 5 years and International City Ballet for 7 years, Aucoin is leading the school in the direction of true professionalism instilling in each dancer the art of dance as a language. Dancers trained by Ms. Aucoin have placed in the Youth American Grand Prix every year from 2005-2009. In 2009, two dancers went on to the National level at YAGP and one placed in the top 10%. Although the school has only been in operations 5 years Aucoin has trained dancers to dance professionally with companies such as Austin Ballet, TX. And Charleston Ballet Theatre, SC.
