Dancer Attire
The International City School of Ballet's Dress Code is a very important part of a student's character and discipline. All dancers enrolled in the School must wear specific leotards and pink tights at all times. Students are required to wear leather split-sole ballet slippers that have been properly fitted by a dance supplier or have been approved by the Artistic Director. Dancers may not wear skirts, legwarmers, shorts, baggy t-shirts, tank tops or similar attire. Hair must be worn in a neat ballet bun with no hair hanging out (if your child has bangs, please clip them back). All dancers must use bobby pins and a hair net when creating their bun. Dancers may not wear any type of jewelry, with the exception of small discrete earrings. The dress code will be strictly enforced, please follow these specific guidelines according to your dancer's level: Class Attire for 2009-2010 (PDF 76KB) |
